About Us

Be the Change 406 is a youth substance prevention organization dedicated to empowering young people to make positive choices and lead healthy, drug-free lives. Founded in 2018, we have been actively engaged in our community, working tirelessly to educate, inspire, and support our youth in making informed decisions about substance use.

Our Vision

A Safe and Healthy Beaverhead County.

Our Mission

Our mission is to increase healthy opportunities and decrease substance misuse among youth through collaboration, education, and advocacy.

What We Do

  • Education: We provide comprehensive, evidence-based education on the risks and consequences of substance abuse through workshops, presentations, and educational materials tailored to the needs of young people.
  • Prevention Programs: We offer engaging prevention programs designed to build resilience, foster positive peer relationships, and develop healthy coping strategies as alternatives to substance use.
  • Support Services: We connect youth and their families with supportive resources, and community organizations dedicated to addressing substance abuse issues and promoting mental health and well-being.

Get Involved

Join us in our mission to create a healthier, drug-free community for our youth. Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Volunteer: Become a volunteer and help us organize events, facilitate workshops, or provide mentorship to young people.
  • Donate: Your donations help us expand our reach, develop new programs, and provide essential resources to youth in need.
  • Spread the Word: Share our message on social media, invite others to our events, and help us raise awareness about the importance of youth substance prevention.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
